Missie Elmose

Written by my son Nathon:

As I said my final goodbye to Missie today, I knew it was the last time I’d ever see her in this life. Sixteen years of love, loyalty, and companionship will never be forgotten. Until we meet again, Missie. Here’s a prayer for your trip to the other side, sent with all my love❤️

Heavenly Father,

With a heavy heart, I come to You today as I say goodbye to my sweet Missie. For 16 years, she was more than just a pet—she was my companion, my comfort, and my family. Through every season of my life, she stood by my side, offering her unconditional love and loyalty. Thank You, Lord, for blessing me with such a beautiful soul, one that brought so much joy and love into my world.

Though my heart aches with her passing, I take comfort in knowing that she is not alone. I pray that she now runs free in Your eternal care, where pain no longer touches her, and where she is reunited with Hallie, Jack, Meow-Meow, and Debo. Let them welcome her with wagging tails and gentle purrs, as they play together once more in fields of endless sunshine.

May she feel the warmth of my love, even from afar, just as I will always carry hers in my heart. Though she is no longer physically by my side, I know her spirit will never leave me. Help me, Lord, to find peace in the love we shared and in the memories that will forever remain.

Thank You for the time I had with Missie, and for the love of all my pets who have gone before her. I trust that one day, we will all be together again.

Until then, may she rest in peace, happy and free, surrounded by love.

Amen

**Love,
Your family
