Toast came into our family three years ago after we adopted him from Heart of the Valley Animal Shelter. He had a tough winter, where he was caught in the negative temperatures that January brought on. This is how he lost parts of his ears, giving him his unique look. For the three years we had Toast his favorite thing to do was cuddle. Anytime you sat down you could guarantee he would be coming to sit on you. He loved to sleep curled up by our heads and was not afraid to make himself comfortable. His favorite food was his cat food mixed with chicken broth warmed up then mashed into a paste (he had no teeth so loved the softened hard food but would not eat store bought soft food). Although he lived a tough first part of life, Toast was the sweetest and most gentle soul we’ve ever met, and he always loved his people. Although we didn’t get his full life with him, we’re so grateful to have gotten those final years. Rest easy Toaster, until we meet again.
